The original weekend may have been canceled but this weekend Call of Duty: Black Ops will offer Double XP weekend for all gamers. The game is currently available for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and the Nintendo Wii.
The makers of the game have launched the first downloadable content pack for the game which is called First Strike.
The Double XP weekend will be available for all game modes and the game makers hope it will encourage gamers to download the First Strike content.
The Double XP weekend will start at 6pm GMT on Friday and will last until Monday. The time it will end on Monday has not been specified by the game makers as of yet.
The Double XP weekend should be a busy weekend for fans of the game.
